With clearance from your Healthcare Professional we will design a program for you that addresses your needs. We will work as a team, collaborating with your health care professional to ensure that the most effective plan is created allowing you to regain and maintain an optimal level of health.
Chronic Health Conditions
If you are looking to manage a chronic health condition through exercise, our Post-Rehabilitation Trainers at Fitness Powers Inc are experienced in helping you manage chronic conditions such as cancer, dementia, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, arthritis, osteoporosis, etc. or other health issues such as Dementia, Depression, Diabetes, High Blood pressure, etc. With the assistance of your health care provider, our Trainers work with you to take control of your life to live stronger and happier. Our trainers will create a program aimed specifically at the management of your condition. Our goal is to help enhance your quality of life and so you can continue to participate in the daily activities you enjoy.

Build up those bones
Resistance training and body weight exercises are essential to stopping the progression of, or reversing the loss of bone mass. When you exercise you don’t just build muscle and endurance you also build and maintain the thickness and amount of bone mass your body has. Register for this 60-minute resistance training program and begin your journey to building healthier bones and a healthier body. See available times below.

Striving to Thrive – Dementia
CareFit Program for Caregivers of individuals with dementia.
This is a program for people caring for individuals with a chronic health condition. It is a program that combines physical activity as well as mental and social interaction for caregivers and individuals living with a chronic health condition. The program runs for specific health conditions, one hour per week for 12 weeks and offers a great environment to establish new friendships with others who are living the same experiences.

Walking Circuit – Heart Sense Fitness
The Heart Sense Fitness Program is a group training session that focuses on prevention, post-rehabilitation and health maintenance. It is designed to help those who currently have or are at risk of having a chronic health condition. The goal of the Heart Sense Fitness Program is to improve an individual’s functional capacity and quality of life, reduce risk factors and to create a sense of well-being and optimism about their future. Health education, cardiovascular, resistance training and flexibility training are all part of this program. See available times below.
